JDI Research Newsletter (July)

It has been a busy month for JDI Research in July!

JULY 2017

This month has been one of technological upgrades at JDI Research. When our old server crashed, we called in our Star IT Team from Think Networking to upgrade us to a better and faster machine. Our server is the heart of our technology in the venue as it enables us to back up all the recordings from projects run by our clients. These recordings are archived for three months and are ready on call should a client have need of them. A handy thing to know for last minute requests for DVD footage or audio recordings before a presentation. Another positive outcome from our new server is in the efficient running of our Digital Suites. This service has become so popular that our old server could not keep up with the demand for uploads. Now with the new server we are back on track with our 24 hour turnaround time.
Another exciting advancement for JDI is that we have decided to not only hire out our venue for Consumer Market Research but also to hire out our boardrooms during the day for meetings. We realize that space is an expensive luxury not all offices have and there is a need for boardrooms for meetings, staff training, strategy sessions, briefings and so much more. We keep our eye on the details while you get down to business!

News from The LAD Foundation:

JDI Research and The LAD Foundation have had the privilege of working together with our Recruitment Manager Astrid Guntenhoner for The Baby Moses Sanctuary bringing warmth and much needed grocery supplies to the little ones in need this winter. It was a challenge as so many this winter joined as one nation to aid those in need from the Knysna Fires but we still managed to clothe and feed all of our promised little ones. We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to all who supported us in our efforts both named and anonymous. We received both cash and item donations all of which were gratefully received. We at JDI Research and The LAD Foundation would like to thank everyone for their generous hearts and for the continued support in all of our efforts to make this world a better place for those in need.

“Dear staff of JDI Research,
This is to thank you for the donation of groceries which we received on 23 July is much appreciated.
As you are aware, Baby Moses is a registered Non-Profit and Public Benefit organization that provides permanent care and accommodation to orphans neglected and abused children. Receiving donations that assist in creating our home situations feel ”normal” all help in the welfare and emotional wellbeing for our children. Community support is very important to us. We also support an outreach program in Bodibe (near Lichtenburg – in the North West province)
Again, we thank you for your generosity and look forward to working with you again. May this be the beginning of a wonderful partnership. We look forward to sharing baby Moses’ success with you in our monthly newsletter.”
